A very 'Speciale' Ferrari 458 with rare factory NART style racing stripes!
The 458 Speciale was first unveiled in 2013 at the Frankfurt Motor Show as the high-performance variant of the 458 Italia. Sporting a naturally aspirated 4.5-liter V8 producing 597hp at 9000rpm, and 398lb-ft at 6000rpm, this engine launches the 458 Speciale to 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 202mph. This engine is the final iteration of the fully naturally aspirated V8 to come in a Ferrari to date, delivering an incredible exhaust note as it approaches the 9000rpm redline.
The Speciale comes in at 200lbs lighter than the standard 458 Italia, with an enhanced carbon fiber underbody and lightweight glass, lighter carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes, and 20" forged wheels that in total are 26lbs lighter than the wheels on the Italia. The wheels are finished in satin gold, dressed with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, sized 245/35/ZR20 in the front, and 305/30/ZR20 in the rear.
The Speciale also sports a fine-tuned F1 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, delivering blistering shift speeds and perfectly rev-matched downshifts. The transmission produces 40 percent faster longitudinal acceleration with engine revs adapting 20 percent more rapidly in up-shifts, with the transient time required for the engine revs to match the gear ratio in down-shifts being 44 percent faster compared to the standard 458 Italia.
The exterior of this Speciale is finished in Bianco Avus, a gorgeous white with the rare factory Ferrari NART racing stripes running down the entire top of the car. The interior is finished in black leather with red stitching that accents the seats and dashboard, along with high gloss carbon fiber positioned on the door cards, steering wheel, gauge cluster, and center console areas.
This particular 458 Speciale was purchased in 2016 and is in immaculate condition, currently displaying 2,441 miles. The car has been meticulously maintained and stored in a climate-controlled location since being purchased, being regularly run and monitored to maintain its condition.
